My name is Jonathan Falsetti. I am a Sophomore, I play football, and I am a co-host of a weekly sports talk show here at Muhlenberg. I am excited about the option of doing a creative final because I was able to do something like that in high school and I feel that I learned the most from that experience.

My name is Olivia Alvarez, and I'm from central New Jersey. A member of the class of 2010, I am a dance and psychology double major. I have been dancing for 16 years, and want to pursue a career in dance when I graduate. I am also considering becoming a therapist/psychiatrist for dancers. I have a younger brother who is currently a freshman at Brown University in Rhode Island, my dad works as an attorney at a law firm in Manhattan, and my mom is a receptionist at my old dance studio. I am a class representative in the Muhlenberg Dance Association (MDA), and work as a dance tutor here.

My name is Dan Brennan. I am a Freshman and I am currently majoring in Neuroscience. I come from Bayonne, NJ which is about five minutes outside NYC. I used to travel a lot with my parents. I have visited every continent except Antarctica. My favorite places to visit are London and San Diego, California. I am a fan of any horror movie, no matter how stupid it is. Animal Farm is probably my favorite book, LOST is my favorite show, and Edward Scissorhands is my favorite movie. That’s me in a nutshell; a very small nutshell.

My name is Michele Sasso and I am a sophomore here at Muhlenberg. I am an identical twin from Miami, Florida. My sister is not at Muhlenberg however, she is a television, radio and film major at the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse Univesity. I am a double major in Biology and Dance. In the long run I hope to eventually go to medical school and become a doctor working a specialty in pediatrics. I have been dancing since I was three and participate in many of the dance shows on campus both as a performer and choreographer. Other than dance and the sciences I am also a writing tutor here on campus and work in the writing center weekly.

My name is Samantha Pulliam and I am a sophomore here at Muhlenberg College. I am from Fairfield County, CT. I am a neuroscience major and a public health minor with a concentration in pre-medicine. I am a member of MCEMS and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.

Sincerely,
Samantha Pulliam

I’m a senior psychology major from Westfield, NJ. I enjoywriting both fiction and non-fiction pieces as well as reading, music, movies and traveling. While I’m not officially an English major or minor I have taken numerous classes at Muhlenberg and over the summer in literature and writing. At Muhlenberg my extra-curricular activities
include the Cardinal Key Society, Senior Class Connections Campaign and
the Writing Center.

Melissa Waldman

I am a 2nd-year student at Muhlenberg and my hometown is Rochester, New York. I have chosen Anthropology as my major and French as my minor. As someone who enjoys being around different kinds of people and learning much as I can about them, one of my ambitions is to do lots of traveling. I am hoping to begin my travels by studying abroad in South Africa in the spring of 2009. In addition to my passion for learning about different cultures, I love to dance, sing, play Frisbee, and watch movies. I am also a total music junkie. On campus, I sing in the Chaimonics, and take part in Alpha Phi Omega (a co-ed community service fraternity), French club, and EnAct.

Bio
I’m born and raised in Hartsdale, NY which is in Westchester County. I’m about a 20 minute drive to midtown Manhattan and about fifteen from Yankee Stadium. I grew up loving animals. Every book I’d read was about animals, nonfiction nearly exclusively. I amassed quite a collection of ZooBooks over the younger years in my life, had an immense set of index cards with pictures, stats, and info on hundreds of species, even had at least one animal lady for a birthday party, but never had a favorite animal. My siblings, and older brother and younger sister each separated from me by three grades in school, were into sports and dolls respectively. I still love a trip to the zoo but I’m decidedly less obsessed nowadays; perhaps I was too hard and fast out of the gate and burnt out. These days I lack a specific passion. I’m crazy for my NY sports teams (Yanks, Giants, Rangers) and I’m involved in saving the environment with my girlfriend of 3+ years who leads our campus environmental group. I spend most of my time enjoying doing nothing or playing online Scrabble. Sleep is a beloved pastime if not a passion. I don’t read for pleasure and regret it. I watch a lot of tv and a lot of movies, but I think I watch mostly “good” stuff (stick to the TLC’s and Discovery’s of this world mostly and try not to miss Jeopardy weeknights). Parents are also NYers. Brother now lives in Manhattan and works in real estate, writes for thecheappop.com and is a standup comedian who I like to think is on the rise. Little sis is a freshman at the University of Delaware. I eat a lot of tuna salad, play some instruments, and am petrified of what will happen to me after this year. That’s about it.

My name is Alex Bartholomew. I was born in Allentown, PA and have lived in Bethlehem for most of my life. I enjoy playing golf, ultimate Frisbee, football and any other physical activity. I played golf, basketball and track during high school. I enjoy watching war and any type of action movie. I do not read very much unless books are about things I enjoy reading about; mainly war or horror novels [the main reason I took this class].

My name is Tim Letso. I am a twenty-one year old from Hillsborough, New Jersey. I have lived in New Jersey my entire life. I’m a junior and I’m majoring in Business and Communication. I enjoy music and movies. My favorite band is Radiohead, and my favorite movies are Halloween and Wet Hot American Summer. My favorite sport is basketball. I frequently attend concerts and New Jersey Nets games. I love
spending time with friends. In the future I hope to do a lot of
traveling around the world.

I am Brian Baxter. I have lived in Colonia, New Jersey my entire life (19 years). I am very big into sports and hope one day to become a sports writer. I love sports whether I am a participant or merely a spectator. I have traveled to Ireland and England as well as Mexico. My brother is in Military Intelligence and has traveled all around the world and consequently I have been able to visit him at many of the places he has been stationed. I am a very big New York Giants fan and it is my dream to be a sports writer for them because I have concluded that my dream of playing for them will never come to fruition. Like most people I like to try new things. Some of my favorite movies are Billy Madison, Remember the Titans, The Pursuit of Happiness, and Fight Club.

A.J. Barnold
I am a junior from Olney, MD. I'm a psychology major and public health
minor and would like to go into sports psychology or athletic training. I play soccer here at Muhlenberg - I’ve been playing since I was 4 - and I’m a huge college football and basketball fan. Some of my favorite movies are Green Street Hooligans, Major League, Airplane, and Pirates of the Carribean.

My name is Doug Cedrone and I am currently a Junior here and Muhlenberg. I am a Media and Communication major and an Art Studio minor with a focus in photography. I was just abroad last semester in Brussels, Belgium and it was amazing. The culture, people, and lifestyle of the Belgians had a great impact on me and my perspective on life in general. I am from Chatham which is in northern New Jersey and have an older brother and sister. My hobbies generally include surfing, music, other various sports, photography, camping, skiing, and hiking. After graduation I hope to go and work for the government in one of their intelligence fields.

Hello i am William Hall Junior at Muhlenberg College
I participate in wrestling here.
Hopes for this class are immense, i am looking forward to seeing these movies directed and forming ideas and opinions.

War has always been interesting to me and through this class I hope to get a detailed idea of it.

Other than wrestling here there is not much to me, and nothing interesting.

I hope this class goes well for you seeing that it is your first here at Muhlenberg, and I am looking forward to experience the creative learning you have planned for us. Hopefully this class can be fun as well as educational.

If there is anything else you need to know about me, just ask I am all ears.
